The Be Youth Program was everything I wanted to get out of a financial literacy program. It taught me efficient ways to save, effective ways to invest , and most importantly it really broaden my understanding of what it really means to have good credit.

As a Division 1 athlete the financial decision I make now can have a negative effect or positive effect on my future. Being able to learn this knowledge I am able to make more intelligent decisions with my money and limit bad habits. As I make the transition to professional athlete I feel very comfortable making decisions with the knowledge and lessons I’ve learned."

In the class I learned many different things such as how a credit score can affect many things such as buying a car and how with a bad credit score you can end up paying double the price as someone who has good credit. I also learned about zero based budgeting and that you want to know where your money is going."
